Department of Sanskrit
About the Department

This institution was established in the year of 1959 and from the beginning of the institution discipline of Sanskrit has been started in this college with general courses. The honours courses have been introduce from the years 1968 and till it is running with the excellence of glory. Many of our students have obtained first or second position in the previous years university examination. In the past years meritorious students have been passed from this department and now they are pursuing  in various renowned colleges and universities. Now they are pursuing M. A, M. Phil and Ph. D degree from different renowned universities. Many Students have cleared NET , SET and they have been successfully placed in various school, collages and universities. After passing from this collage they made the Sanskrit department fell proud. 

The department always  teaches its students such types of books like Veda, Purana, Ramayana, Mahabharata. So that they can learn Indian culture, spiritual heritage. The department always celebrate cultural programs through which the students became are able to enrich there Sanskrit knowledge.
